WELCOME TO WOMENITY!

The First Palestinian All-Female Digital English Magazine for Empowering Campus Voices

Womenity is a new initiative at Bethlehem University under the Faculty of Arts, and the first of its kind. This magazine is created, written, and designed entirely by women, for women, and about women. We are Ms. Paola Handal and Ms. Ruba Ayyad as the Co-Editors in Chief, alongside Ms. Tina Hazboun as the Creative Director, and a diverse group of students from various faculties who strongly believe in the power of storytelling—especially in light of the challenges faced over the past year. In alignment with Bethlehem University’s mission, Womenity aims to increase the voices of women within our Bethlehem University community, to give space to our unique experiences, and to shine a light on the many successes we have accomplished on campus. Womenity would allow us to raise awareness, and spark dialogue on issues that matter most.

In Womenity, you will find articles that reflect our perspectives on life at Bethlehem University, stories of resilience, and empowerment, as well as the challenges we face as women navigating both academic and personal spaces in a world often marked by conflict. Through this digital magazine, we hope to foster understanding, build solidarity, and inspire change—not just within our university, but in the broader community as well.
