Tickets for the Fundraising Gala Dinner, which will be held on Friday, 29 November 2019, at 7:30 pm at Nissan Banqueting Hall, Bethlehem, are available now at the Advancement Office.

The cost of a ticket for Faculty/ Staff and their partners is 150 NIS.
The cost of a ticket for guests is 200 NIS.

Dean of Students Office

 

Debate Training

The Dean of Students Office, in cooperation with Dean of Students Offices in Hebron University and Palestine Ahliya University, organized training for the debate clubs on Thursday, 26 September 2019. The training was for the groups who will participate in the debate competition that will be organized by Flisteniyyat organization in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Palestinian universities. The training was under the supervision of the trainers Mazen Zaro, Hamam Ghayatheh, and the student activities coordinators.

Bethlehem University Debate Team include Lama Wazwaz, Nour Shatreet, and Kate Kheir. They will compete in the first debate of the competition against the Modern University College in Ramallah on Wednesday, 2 October 2019.

We thank our students who participated in the training and we wish our students who will compete next week all the best.

 

Lecture on Family Protection

The Student Senate, under the supervision of the Dean of Students Office and in coordination with the Palestinian Police (Family Protection Department and Public Relations Department), organized a lecture on family protection.

Department of Physical and Occupational Therapy

 

The senior Physical Therapy students celebrated two occasions: "World Physical Therapy Day" and " Falls Prevention Awareness Day" on Thursday, 26 September 2019. 

"World Physical Therapy Day"

The students celebrated World Physical Therapy Day, which is celebrated worldwide on 8 September, on-campus through postural analysis and exercise activities. They showed other students one part of their future profession. The activity was successful as 350 students participated. 

 

Falls Prevention Awareness Day

In cooperation with Saint Nicolas Home, the students held several activities for the elderly to mark the annual Falls Prevention Awareness Day which is celebrated worldwide on 23 September. The theme of the day was "Keep Your Bones Healthy". The students gave a presentation about falls prevention in the senior population, and the physiotherapy role through short role-play and exercise activity. The day concluded by assessing the risks for falls of every resident in the Home to take appropriate percussion.
