On Tuesday, 27 August 2019, Bethlehem University’s faculty and staff gathered in the auditorium for the annual meeting to prepare for and start the new academic year 2019-2020.
Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Irene Hazou presided over the meeting and welcomed everybody back for the year.
The meeting began with a reflection by Brother Peter Iorlano, Coordinator of Institutional Values, after which Vice Presidents and Deans introduced new faculty and staff members to their colleagues.
Vice Chancellor Brother Peter Bray addressed the audience and encouraged them to always strive to make the University better and to serve the students entrusted to us as older brothers and sisters as they are “the people leading the next generation”.
Brother Peter also highlighted in his speech the strategic plan which is titled “Towards the 50th jubilee of a Research Informed Teaching University in the Lasallian tradition.”
Important updates from the Vice President for Financial Affairs Mr. Youil Anastas, Vice President for Human Resources and Administrative Affairs Brother Stephen Tuohy, and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Irene Hazou were also presented.
