Signing an Agreement with the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce

Agreement, Silk Road Signing On 28th September 2017 Bethlehem University signed a cooperation partnership with the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC).

The latter is an international non-profit organization aiming to expose the globe to the abundant business and development opportunities along the new Silk Road being initiated by the Chinese government in partnership with governments from Asia to Europe (including the Arab World).

Attending the signing ceremony from Bethlehem University were Brother Peter Bray,(Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mazin Qumsiyeh, Director of the Palestine Institute of Biodiversity and Sustainability ( PIBS) and the Palestine Museum of Natural History, Jessie Chang (Co-founder of PIBS and providing translation), and Amany Amro (public relations for PIBS).

SRCIC upholds the Silk Road Spirit of “peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual benefit” with a vision to become a momentum in advancing global trade and investment, cultural exchange, and sustainable development. Such an agreement advances Bethlehem University’s education mission which focuses on community service and sustainable development.
