From the Chairperson

Technology has driven significant evolution and transformation in every aspect of our lives, with fields such as healthcare, automotive, communication, manufacturing, and business, among others, all owing their advancements to technological innovations.
The Department of Technology at Bethlehem University offers two advanced undergraduate degrees: the Software Engineering program and the Computer Simulation in Sciences and Engineering program. The Software Engineering program is designed to meet the highest international standards, including those set by ABET accreditation and the ACM professional society. Students complete over 80 credits in core major courses, supplemented by lab activities and practical sessions that enhance hands-on learning.

The Computer Simulation in Sciences and Engineering program is the first of its kind in Palestine and the region. It is structured to align with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines. The first two years focus on foundational courses in mathematics, physics, and computer science, preparing students for the core simulation and modeling courses in the third and fourth years.

Students in both programs benefit from an exceptional educational framework that equips them with internationally recognized competencies in their fields. The curriculum is carefully designed to be relevant and aligned with both current and future industry demands. Furthermore, the summer internship courses in both programs give students the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges. A standout feature of our programs is the final graduation project, which allows students to gain hands-on experience in solving real-life problems through software development and simulation.
I encourage readers to explore our program courses and descriptions to learn more about what we offer. We are excited about the future and invite current and prospective students, alumni, and colleagues from around the world to connect and engage with us in discovering new opportunities and contributing to technological advancements.
