Meet the Chair

Welcome to the Engineering Department

It gives me a great honor to serve as a chairperson for this leading department in the university. As a newly established department, we will be focusing on three main aspects, namely teaching, research, and practice. As an engineering department, we will ensure our students achieve high-quality knowledge and skills. We also believe that our students, which are the engineers of the future will have the ultimate goal of serving our country and nation. Therefore, we will, all together, ensure that the provided knowledge and resources are up to date.

Utilizing new teaching styles and tools is also an important goal for our department. The research and innovation are the second important aspect in this department, we will ensure to introduce our students to them in the early stages of their study. As an engineering department and in collaboration with the Salesian Industrial School, we established several new cutting-edge labs for both fundamental and high-level program labs.

The practical knowledge and skills are a main priority in our department. As the department and the university are also part of our society, our faculty and staff will also be providing consultation services for our community and local market. This will come in the form of short courses, seminars, symposia, and technical conferences in pursuit of our department’s vision and mission.
