Department of Engineering

About the Department

The Engineering Department at Bethlehem University was founded in March 2023. It is the first engineering department in the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Technology, and Engineering. The department started with the Sustainable Energy Engineering (SEEN) Program and has the ambition to extend to other promising and cutting-edge programs. The department launched with approximately 20 students, with a clear plan to attract more and more students in the nearby future. The main labs of the SEEN program are located in the former Salesian Industrial School, where they will be mostly taught by their engineers. The department started with three faculty members, in addition to the supporting team from the Salesian School. More faculty members are expected to join soon based on the number of admitted students in the various department programs.
