Webinar: “From a Master’s Degree to a Ph.D.: The Journey and the Promise”

The Office of the Dean of Research is pleased to invite you to attend the first colloquium in the Research and Creativity colloquia series for the 2021-2022 academic year. Dr. Rawan Gideon, Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Science, and Dr. Yacoub Sleibi, Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business, will share their personal and professional journey towards a Ph.D. Rawan and Yacoub will discuss the links between their research in the master’s degree and their Ph.D., the challenges of pursuing the Ph.D., and the promise of the Ph.D. for the future of their research.

This event will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday 30/09/2021, at Furno Hall.

This series of colloquia aims to showcase faculty research, introduce its sources of funding, encourage critical and constructive exchanges about research, and provide opportunities for researchers to network and form interdisciplinary research clusters.
