Welcome, Friends and Supporters of Bethlehem University

Greetings from Bethlehem!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to you as we reflect on the completion of our Golden Jubilee celebrations in September 2024. The past fifty years have been a remarkable journey of growth, learning, and service. We are deeply grateful to the many friends and benefactors who have supported us along the way, making it possible for Bethlehem University to thrive and continue its mission.

As we look to the future, we are proud of the advancements that are shaping our campus today. The recently completed Cardinal Foley Hall, home to the Tarek Ahmed Juffali Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences, stands as a beacon of excellence, attracting students who seek quality education and meaningful careers in healthcare. Additionally, we are excited to open the Georgette Salameh Student & Visitor Center, which features fitness rooms, a theater, a visitor center, the George Felton Rooftop Basketball Court, and other recreational spaces—creating a vibrant hub for student life and community engagement.

We owe much of our success to the ongoing support of the friends and benefactors across the globe, including the Latin Patriarchate, The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepluchre, individual donors, as well as the local and global Bethlehemite community. Your belief in our mission of providing a Catholic education in the Lasallian tradition to people of all faiths in the Holy Land remains a source of strength and inspiration.

Bethlehem University continues to embrace new opportunities and foster a community built on interreligious dialogue, respect, and diversity. Our commitment to these values is stronger than ever as we step into the next chapter of our journey.

We invite you to explore the latest edition of the Bethlehem University publications, where you’ll find inspiring stories of our students, faculty, alumni, and supporters who shape the future of our university – thanks to the impact of your philanthropic support

If you are visiting the Holy Land, we warmly welcome you to Bethlehem University, the only Catholic university in the region. Our Student Ambassadors will guide you through our beautiful campus, showcasing highlights such as the Chapel of the Divine Child, the Cultural Heritage Center, and our academic facilities. These dedicated students are eager to share their experiences and the story of Bethlehem University with visitors from all over the world.

For a special experience, you can arrange to enjoy a meal prepared and served by students at our Institute for Hotel Management and Tourism—an important part of their hands-on training.

We are excited to welcome you and to continue building on the legacy of Bethlehem University.

Thank you for your ongoing support and interest!
