CETL Fall Peer initiative hosted on 21 November 2019 Dr. Ahmad Fasfous from the Department of Social Science to talk about integrating principles of psychology in the teaching process. Dr. Ahmed gave a brief introduction to theories and terms and explained the importance of being aware of how memory whether short or long influence the learning and teaching process. In the session, Dr. Ahmad gave a worksheet and activities for the participants to conclude how students process the learning on different levels. The participants, engaged in discussion about memory and how it works in relation to teaching methods and learning, and the necessity of being aware of the psychological principles while teaching.
