Bethlehem University, through its Institute for Community Engagement and Partnership, in collaboration with the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, launched two specialized training courses under the AFAQ Project Emergency Response II. These courses aim to equip participants with practical skills, enhance their career readiness, and deepen their understanding of the job market.
On Friday, 11 November 2024, the first course in the “BISAN Accounting System” began with 30 participants, both male and female, from the parishes of Bethlehem, Beit Jala, and Beit Sahour. This course is tailored to empower graduates and accounting professionals by providing them with hands-on expertise in the BISAN Accounting System, a valuable tool for advancing their careers in accounting and finance.
On Saturday, 12 December 2024, the second course in Graphic Design commenced at the Salesian Vocational Training Center. Fourteen participants from the same parishes joined to develop essential design skills using industry-standard tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere. This course aims to prepare participants for creative careers in the dynamic field of graphic design.
