The Faculty of Applied Sciences, Technology and Engineering at Bethlehem University proudly celebrates the participation of our talented Software Engineering students in the Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship (ACPC) 2024 that took place Sunday, 8 December 2024 in Luxor, Egypt. Competing as team “Rely on Allah,” these students demonstrated a milestone of exceptional problem-solving skills, teamwork, and dedication on an international stage.
The ACPC is one of the most challenging and inspiring events for students passionate about programming and algorithms. Competing against the brightest minds in the region, “Rely on Allah” showcased remarkable determination, demonstrating their skills in tackling complex problems under intense pressure.
Representing Bethlehem University, team members Ihab Maali, Hasan Zawahra and Rama Jboor showcased their expertise and resilience in solving a diverse array of algorithmic and computational problems within a high-pressure environment. Their impressive performance was supervised by Dr. Rawan Gedeon, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Technology and Engineering, whose guidance played a pivotal role in their preparation and success.
Their participation not only highlights the excellence of the Software Engineering program but also underscores the supportive environment provided by the faculty members.
