As part of the Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability’s weekly educational activities, this week’s session was titled “Tales of Skulls and Teeth: What Do Teeth Say About What We Eat?” During the event, children enjoyed learning about the amazing adaptations in animals, discovering how unique traits like the shape of teeth, the thickness of fur, and other physical features help animals survive in their natural habitats, and how these adaptations reveal details about their diets and lifestyles.
Afterwards, the children participated in a fun card game, competing to match animals with their adaptations. This engaging activity gave them the opportunity to learn more about the connection between animals’ bodies and their environments. The event was full of excitement and curiosity, helping the children appreciate the importance of biodiversity in their world.
