From November 5 to 7, 2024, Bethlehem University’s Zbierski Library welcomed 80 students from Al-Ibrahimieh Society School, accompanied by their teachers. The three-day visit aimed to introduce the students to the library’s resources and deepen their connection to Palestinian heritage.
The library team, led by Juana Juha, provided an informative introduction to the various resources available on the ground floor. Following this, the students embarked on a guided tour of the library, culminating at Turathuna – George Nasra Center for Palestinian Heritage.
At Turathuna, Mirna Zougbhi and Sana Salsa engaged the students with insightful explanations about the center’s displays. They explored themes of cultural heritage, discussing traditional clothing, artifacts, and customs. The interactive session included questions about Palestinian heritage, sparking lively discussions. The students’ enthusiasm and curiosity were evident as they connected with their heritage through these hands-on experiences.
Bethlehem University extends its gratitude to Al-Ibrahimieh Society School for this enriching visit. Special thanks go to the accompanying teachers, including Bethlehem University alumni Nour Al-Madbouh, Khetam Daamseh, and Adan Natsheh.
