Bethlehem University’s Alumni Relations Unit, in collaboration with the Tarek Ahmad Juffali Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences and Al-Maha Cancer Society, recently organized an awareness lecture titled “Check and be reassured.” The event, aimed at empowering female alumni, focused on breast cancer prevention and early detection.
Dr. Hanan Hazboun, Associate Professor at the Faculty, led the session, providing valuable insights into breast self-examination techniques. The lecture also included a firsthand account from a breast cancer survivor, who shared her experiences and encouraged attendees to prioritize regular screenings.
