Bethlehem University Celebrates the Achievements of Alumna Serina Almassu

Bethlehem University is proud to congratulate its distinguished alumna, Serina Almassu, a graduate of the Medical Laboratory Sciences program in 2020, on her recent appointment to the prestigious EPS (European Physical Society) Action Committee. This remarkable achievement is a reflection of Serina’s dedication and contributions to the scientific community, both locally and internationally.

Serina is currently pursuing her PhD as a Pre-doctoral candidate at the Calegari Research Group, Centre of Regenerative Therapies-Dresden (CRTD) at Dresden University of Technology (TUD), Germany. Beyond her academic work, she has been actively involved in various scientific and professional organizations. She has served on the administrative board of “The Researchist,” a scientific research community in Palestine, since 2019, and has been a member of the Palestinian Medical Technology Association since 2020.

Since 2017, Serina has been a key member of the EPS Young Minds section Science4People in the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Technology and Engineering Bethlehem, Palestine, the first node of an international network focused on science dissemination among youth. Her long-standing involvement in this initiative has now culminated in her appointment to the Action Committee of the EPS Young Minds project, where she will continue to advance scientific engagement.
