Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability Promotes Water Conservation

The Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability (PIBS) continued its efforts to raise environmental awareness through an educational event for children on Friday, 30 August 2024. The event was held in conjunction with World Water Week, which took place from August 25 to 29.

The workshop focused on the critical importance of water conservation. Participants engaged in a variety of activities, including a game about water issues, educational videos, and discussions. These interactive elements helped children understand the significance of water in sustaining life and provided practical tips for its efficient use.

Through these activities, PIBS aimed to educate and empower young people to become advocates for water conservation and sustainable practices. The institute’s commitment to involving the community in environmental issues is evident through its ongoing efforts to raise awareness and promote positive change.
