Bethlehem University’s Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management recently held the final exam for its eleventh Culinary Arts Program cohort. The event was attended by esteemed guests, including a representative from the Ministry of Labor and representatives from the Palestinian Association for Culinary Arts, Master Chefs Odeh Abu El Hawa and Waleed Abu Jumaa, alongside the institute’s own Chef Peter Hermantas and Chef Rami Hosh.
The exam was formatted as a competition where students showcased their culinary skills by creating unique main dishes from a selection of ingredients provided by the judges. The students’ impressive dishes garnered admiration from the judging panel, who offered valuable feedback and guidance to support their continued growth.
The Culinary Arts program is one of several professional programs offered through Bethlehem University’s Institute of Tourism (BUTi), which also includes hospitality arts, reception, and housekeeping. These programs are designed to cultivate skilled professionals for the tourism industry.
