Bethlehem University is seeking a creative Web and Multimedia Specialist. The position holder plays a pivotal role in crafting a captivating online presence for Bethlehem University to optimize its public relations, advancement, marketing, and communications efforts. This is a multifaceted role which encompasses managing and optimizing our website, developing high-quality multimedia content (videos, images, etc.), and contributing to the creation of engaging content that effectively communicates, to local and global audiences, Bethlehem University’s story of providing quality transformative education in a supportive learning community.
The Web and Multimedia Specialist will leverage expertise in web design, multimedia production, and content creation to ensure our website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and search engine optimized. The position holder will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to capture the essence of Bethlehem University’s vibrant campus environment and academic achievements through compelling multimedia content. Additionally, strong editing skills will be instrumental in crafting impactful visuals for our website and social media platforms, fostering a cohesive digital identity for the University.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in either Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Webmaster or Web Developer.
- Practical experience in photography, filming and editing, and multimedia.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms).
- WordPress knowledge is required.
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices.
- Familiarity with web analytics and SEO principles.
- Proficiency in multimedia software (Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, content management systems, social media platforms and other database software.
