The Brother Vincent Malham Center (BVMC) at Bethlehem University celebrated the graduation of its spring 2023/2024 cohort on Wednesday, 29 May 2024, in the presence of Vice Chancellor Brother Hernan Santos, students, and BVMC professors.
The graduating students, thrilled to be part of Bethlehem University, showcased their Arabic language skills through performances. The nuns who are part of the program also introduced themselves and shared their motivations for becoming nuns, all in Arabic. Brother Alejandro González further enriched the event with a beautiful story about resilience in the face of challenges, followed by an engaging discussion on fostering connections.
The ceremony culminated in the presentation of certificates to students who completed the Intensive, regular, and private Arabic language programs. To mark this special occasion and bid farewell to the graduates who were returning to their home countries, a celebratory barbecue and lunch party was held. The celebration concluded with a delightful serving of “Muhalabya,” a traditional Palestinian dessert, for the students to enjoy.
We at BVMC extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the graduating students. We wish them continued success and fulfillment in their future endeavors. It was an honor to witness their graduation and the culmination of their hard work.
