The Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism Participates in the Third International Young Chef Olympiad

On January 27, 2017, and for the first time in the history of the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, Chef Peter Hermantas and student Qutaiba Nasrallah were sent to India to represent Palestine at the Third International Young Chef Olympiad. Educational institutions from 48 other countries also participated. The competition was organized by the International Institute of Hotel Management in India. The Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism at Bethlehem University hope their participation at the Olympiad becomes an annual one.  

While in India, Chef Hermantas also represented the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism in signing a memorandum of agreement with the International Institute of Hotel Management in India. The MOU aims to establish a student study abroad/exchange program, to develop a faculty exchange program, and to collaborate on research projects and internship and industrial training.
