Bethlehem University held a symposium on Sharing Experiences in Online Learning on Wednesday, 20 January 2021, via Google Meet.
Over 50 academics from different Palestinian universities participated in the online symposium that was organized by the Academic Office.
The symposium, which was moderated by the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Muna Matar, aimed to share the experiences and challenges of online learning during the coronavirus pandemic.
Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Irene Hazou welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences between academic and administrative staff in Palestinian universities.
Speakers were Dr. Badie Sartawi, Associate Professor of Computer Science at Al-Quds University, Mr. Elias Mukarker, Instructor in the Department of Business Administration at Bethlehem University, and Mr. Laith Awwad, Instructor in the Department of English at Bethlehem University.
Assistant Vice President for Information Technology Services Mr. Philip Daoud presented a summary on online learning and all matters related to technology for the past two semesters.
The participants then were engaged in a discussion to exchange their experiences in online learning.
