Bethlehem University and the Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Monday, 15 April 2019 in the Executive Conference Room.
The general purpose of this agreement is to promote collaborative research, other educational developments, and to further mutual understanding.
The signing was done by Dr. Michael Sansur, Executive Vice President, and Associate Professor Dr hab. Stanisław Dziekoński, Rector of the Cardinal Wyszyński University. Also present was Aleksandra Bukowska-McCabe, the Representative of the Republic of Poland to the Palestinian National Authority; Salah Atallah, Honorary Consul of Poland to Palestine; Brother Denis Loft, Vice President for Advancement; Dr. Irene Hazou, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Muna Matar, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Dr. Jamil Khader, Dean of Research.
The guests were welcomed in the Executive Meeting room for the signing, during which introductions about both universities were exchanged.
Dr. Sansur emphasized that the pairing of both universities can have very positive implications for the mutual benefit through knowledge exchange and other activities.
The Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw is a state university in Warsaw. It was founded in 1999, and it is named after Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński of Poland.
