The Palestinian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research H.E. Prof. Mahmoud Abu Mouis visited Bethlehem University on Thursday, 24 October 2019.
Executive Vice President Dr. Michael Sansour, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Irene Hazou, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Muna Matar, Deans and members of the Student Senate met with the Minister on his first visit to campus after assuming office.
Dr. Sansour welcomed the Minister and thanked him for visiting the University.
H.E. Prof. Abu Mouis discussed future cooperation between the University and the Ministry especially in regards to accreditation of new academic programs.
It is worth mentioning that three new academic programs have recently been accredited: a Master in Oncology Nursing and Palliative Care, a minor program in Entrepreneurship and a Professional Diploma in Music Therapy.
