Bethlehem University Hosts the Masar Ibrahim Photo Exhibition “Explore the Wonders of Palestine”
On Tuesday, February 14, 2017, Bethlehem University hosted the Masar Ibrahim Al-Khalil Photo Exhibition under the title of “Explore the Wonders of Palestine.” The exhibition is expected to last until Thursday. In his opening remarks, Dr. Michael Sansur, Executive Vice President, thanked Masar Ibrahim for organizing this exhibition that aims to connect Palestinians with their deep roots in this land. He highlighted the University’s commitment to hosting exhibitions to encourage Palestinians and guests to visit natural sights in Palestine.
The opening ceremony was attended by students, faculty and staff, journalists, and representatives of local organizations.
Ms. Amira Jaber, Women and Community Development Coordinator at Masar Ibrahim, thanked the University for hosting the exhibition and emphasized the organization’s role in showcasing the Palestinian countryside and encouraging people to visit and enjoy the green scenery in Palestine. She went on to present about the hiking trails that Masar Ibrahim organizes all around the West Bank.
To the delight of the students, Ms. Jaber announced that Masar Ibrahim is organizing a hiking trip for Bethlehem University students in hopes that they will get to see and experience a new side of Palestine and learn more about its geography, history, and culture by going to rarely visited places.
Attendees got the chance to examine the photos of breathtaking Palestinian sceneries that were taken by both local and international photographers.
