PIBS Mobile Exhibit Tours Hebron Villages

On Thursday, 10 April 2025, the Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability-Bethlehem University (PIBS) continued its mobile educational exhibit tour, reaching communities across the Hebron Governorate. The latest visits included the villages of Abu al-Ghuzlan, Rabud, Deir Samet, and most recently, Beit ar-Rush.

These outreach activities are part of the “Green Palestine: Promoting a Sustainable Environment for Children and Their Families in Areas B and C of the West Bank” project – implemented by World Vision in partnership with the MA’AN Development Center, and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

The mobile exhibit offered children and their families an engaging opportunity to discover Palestine’s biodiversity and better understand the importance of environmental conservation. Through interactive displays and age-appropriate educational materials, participants explored the natural world in ways that were both informative and enjoyable.

By bringing nature-based learning directly to rural communities, PIBS continues to promote environmental awareness and sustainability, ensuring that knowledge and inspiration reach even the most underserved areas. These ongoing efforts reflect the institute’s commitment to inclusive, community-driven education and the protection of Palestine’s natural heritage.
