Bethlehem University Joins Erasmus+ NeuroDevelopment Project

Bethlehem University, represented by Dr. Ahmed Fasfous, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Ms. Minerva Jaraysah and Ms. Hala Khalawi from the Department of Social Sciences participated in the kick-off meeting of the “NeuroDevelopment Project”, which was held at the University of Granada, Spain, from February 24 to 28, 2025, with funding from the European Union’s (Erasmus+).

The NeuroDevelopment Project aims to establish University-Based Centers specializing in Neuropsychology and Developmental Disorders at Bethlehem University, Hebron University, and An-Najah National University. The initiative is a collaborative effort between these three Palestinian Universities and two European counterparts: the University of Granada (Spain) and the University of Clermont-Ferrand (France).

As part of this participation, the delegation visited several institutions in Spain working in the field of developmental disorders, gaining insights from their expertise and best practices. They also visited the Mind, Brain and Behaviour Research Centre at the University of Granada—one of Spain’s leading research institutions in Psychology.
