Bethlehem University Marks International Women’s Day

Bethlehem University marked International Women’s Day with a vibrant cultural and artistic event on Thursday, 6 March 2025. The event, organized by the Dean of Students Office, brought together students, faculty, and staff to honor the vital role of Palestinian women in all fields of life.
Dr. Mohammad Awad, Dean of Students, emphasized the importance of empowering women through education, while Brother Dr. Hernán Santos, Vice Chancellor, highlighted the resilience of Palestinian women, especially during times of war.
The event featured musical performances by Wajd Band in collaboration with the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music, a traditional Dabkeh show by Tarwida Group, a poetry reading by student Jana Tabakhi, and a theatrical performance titled “#Women” presented by Bethlehem University’s theater group.

Women's Day Event
