PIBS’s Weekly Children Educational Activities

On Friday, 21 February 2025 the Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability – Bethlehem University (PIBS) held its weekly educational activity for children attended by 17 participants. The activity of this week focused on how the children imagine the future of the environment.

The session began with an exploration of Palestine’s landscapes, highlighting the rich biodiversity that makes it unique. The children learned and discussed the importance of conservation and ways to protect nature for future generations.

Afterward, they expressed their ideas through painting, using gouache colors on canvas to create artwork inspired by the plants, animals, and landscapes they had learned about. The activity encouraged them to reflect on their surroundings and think creatively about a sustainable future.
