On 4 February 2025, students from St. Joseph’s School visited the Zbierski Library and Turathuna: George Nasra Center for Palestinian Heritage for an enriching educational experience.
Visit Schedule:
- First Batch: 28 Third grade students visited from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, accompanied by Ms. Sally Kaissieh and Ms. Manal Antar.
- Second Batch: 28 Third grade students visited from 10:40 to 11:40 AM, accompanied by Ms. Haya Mousa and Ms. Azizeb Kriako
Library staff Ms. Mirna Zougbhi and Ms. Sana Salsa warmly greeted the students at the entrance gate and Ms. Elizabeth Dsouza, Library Director, warmly welcomed them upon their arrival to the library.
Ms. Juana Juha, provided an introduction to the library’s services on the ground floor.
At Turathuna, the George Nasra Center, Ms. Mirna Zougbhi and Ms. Sana Salsa guided the students through the displays and heritage artifacts, followed by a short film on “Old Bethlehem”.
The students had an informative and engaging morning at the library.
The library staff sincerely thanks St. Joseph’s school for the visit and looks forward to welcoming them again in the future.
