It is with great joy and gratitude that we celebrate the appointment of Father Dr. Iyad Twal, our esteemed Executive Vice President, as Auxiliary Bishop for Jordan by the Holy Father, Pope Francis.
Father Iyad has served Bethlehem University with unwavering dedication over the past twelve years, contributing immensely to our mission of providing quality education, fostering hope, and nurturing future leaders. His commitment to our community, his pastoral heart, and his tireless efforts have left an indelible mark on our institution and the lives of countless students, faculty, and staff.
As he steps into this new role as Auxiliary Bishop for the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, we rejoice in his calling to serve the People of God in Jordan with the fullness of priestly ministry. Father Iyad’s appointment is not only a testament to his faith and leadership but also a source of pride and inspiration for all of us at Bethlehem University.
