Bethlehem University hosted the Palestinian University Sports Federation Championships for 3×3 Basketball and Volleyball (Southern Region) on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. The games were held at the Catholic Action Sports Complex, featuring participation from four Palestinian universities: Palestine Ahliya University, Dar al-Kalima University, Hebron University, and Palestine Polytechnic University, alongside the host, Bethlehem University.
The championships commenced with an official opening ceremony that included the Palestinian national anthem and a moment of silence to honor the martyrs of Gaza. The Dean of Students at Bethlehem University, Dr. Mohammad Awad, welcomed the participating universities, expressing gratitude for their commitment and emphasizing the importance of such events in fostering collaboration among Palestinian universities.

These included Mustafa Al-Mshayekh, Fatima Abdul Nabi, Elias Al-Bandak, Anwar Al-Hreimi, and Mamdouh Al-Hreimi. A special shield of appreciation was presented to Ms. Suhair Qasrawi from Hebron University in recognition of her significant contributions to university sports, particularly volleyball.
The representative of the Palestinian University Sports Federation for the Southern Region expressed gratitude to Bethlehem University for the outstanding hosting and praised the excellent organization and the teams’ remarkable sportsmanship.
