On Friday, 22 November 2024, the Zbierski Library hosted a truly memorable event organized by Library Director Elizabeth Dsouza—the launch of the book The Tapestry of My Life’s Journey by the remarkable Elaine J. Rumman. At 94 years old, Ms. Elaine continues to inspire with her passion for reading and writing, living a vibrant and purposeful life in the United States.
The event was graced by Ms. Rumman’s daughter, Ms. Maha Saca, and granddaughter, Dr. Iman Saca, Academic Vice President, as guests of honor. Together, they unveiled the book to an audience captivated by the story of a woman whose life has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Ms. Maha, a devoted advocate of her mother’s legacy, shared a heartfelt narrative of unyielding strength and profound wisdom.
