On Thursday, 14 November 2024, the Zbierski Library buzzed with excitement as 18 students gathered for a captivating student-led activity named “Footprints of History.” Ms. Elizabeth Dsouza, Director of the Library warmly welcomed the group and introduced Khader Qassis, a second-year student, who led the hour-long journey through cultural wonders around the world.
Khader’s visually rich PowerPoint presentation brought history to life, showcasing photos of iconic museums, monuments, and artwork from different cultures. The session sparked curiosity, drawing students into an animated discussion as Khader Qassis posed the question: “Do you have a dream destination?” Students eagerly shared their varied, unique answers, each bringing a new perspective to the conversation.
Ms. Elizabeth Dsouza closed the event with heartfelt gratitude to Khader Qassis for his engaging presentation and to the students for their enthusiastic participation, making “Footprints of History” a memorable exploration of dreams and culture.
