On Thursday, 7 November 2024, Bethlehem University’s Zbierski Library held a lively student gathering titled “Book Club Strengthens Bonds.” Initially planned as a shared reading session, the activity evolved into an engaging discussion as students shared insights from books they’d recently read.
Library Director, Ms. Elizabeth D’Souza, welcomed the students warmly and guided the activity. During the conversation, the students’ curiosity about the library’s compactus collection came up, leading to an impromptu visit to the compactus area. Excitement grew as they discovered a treasure trove of books tucked away in this lesser-known section. Enthralled by the selection, many picked up books they were eager to dive into, savoring the experience and marveling at the library’s hidden gems.
The event not only sparked fresh interest in reading but also deepened connections among the students, making it a memorable afternoon at Zbierski Library.
