Bethlehem University Recognizes World Occupational Therapy Day

The Department of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy at Bethlehem University’s Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences marked World Occupational Therapy Day, providing a valuable opportunity to spotlight the significance of occupational therapy as a profession.

The event was officially opened by Prof. Iman Saca, Vice President for Academic Affairs, alongside Dean of the Faculty, Ms. Salam Awad, and Head of the Department, Mr. Anan Ghubash. Faculty members and a number of guests from partner universities and institutions also attended.

The event included a diverse exhibition with various activities aimed at raising awareness about the occupational therapy field. One highlight was a display of assistive tools crafted by occupational therapy students. In a show of solidarity, participants also wrote messages of support and encouragement for therapists and colleagues in Gaza, underscoring their appreciation for their efforts and emphasizing professional unity.

The event concluded the following day with certificates of appreciation awarded to all participating students, honoring their efforts and contributions to the success of World Occupational Therapy Day event.
