On Tuesday, 15 October 2024, Occupational Therapy students at Bethlehem University participated in an integrated lecture with Ms. Dalia Elias at the Simulation Center in the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences. The session, part of the “Human Growth and Development” course (OCTH220), focused on the birth process and the interventions used during labor.
This hands-on, interdisciplinary experience allowed students to deepen their understanding of human development and strengthen their clinical reasoning skills. By applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, students gained valuable insights into the complexities of childbirth and the role of occupational therapists in supporting mothers and newborns.
