Bethlehem University and Holy Family Hospital Partner to Launch Mobile Clinic

Representatives from Bethlehem University and Holy Family Hospital met on Wednesday, 10 July 2024, to discuss a promising new partnership. Brother Jack Curran, Vice President for Advancement, Ms. Salam Awad, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences, and Shahinda Nassar, Manager of the Advancement Office, from Bethlehem University, met with Mr. Gilles Normand, Chief Executive Officer, and Mrs. Elizabeth Anastas (BU’05), Chief of Administration and Finance, from Holy Family Hospital.

This collaboration strengthens the existing relationship between the two institutions. Holy Family Hospital, the second-largest employer in Bethlehem, currently employs an impressive 45% of Bethlehem University graduates. The hospital also plays a vital role in training future nurses through its clinical training programs.

The new partnership focuses on launching a joint project: a mobile clinic for Bethlehem University. The hospital will provide the medical team, while the University will contribute educational awareness programs. This initiative aims to reach marginalized communities by delivering essential healthcare services and educational resources.
