Bethlehem University Workshop Tackles Children’s Rights

The Institute for Community Engagement and Partnership (ICP) at Bethlehem University held a two-day preparatory workshop in Jericho for representatives from most of the university’s faculties and departments. Participants included members from the departments of social sciences, humanities, nursing, education, interactive media, and the Deanship of Student Affairs. The primary goal of the workshop was to develop a vision for creating a comprehensive legal academic educational program focused on children’s rights. This effort will be in collaboration with other Palestinian universities, various health, educational, civil, and legal institutions, and the local community.

During the brainstorming sessions, participants developed comprehensive and distinctive content to guide future directions in this field. The ICP expressed gratitude for the valuable ideas and suggestions provided by specialists, which will serve as a foundation for future work.
