On 15 February 2024, Bethlehem University hosted a workshop dedicated to enhancing the skills and knowledge of its student ambassadors. Facilitated by Prof. Mazin Qumsiyeh, the workshop aimed to empower the ambassadors to effectively represent the university, covering crucial aspects such as community and political engagement.
The opening session set the tone with a welcoming address, fostering a sense of friendship through introductions among the student participants. The workshop delved into the significance of community engagement, exploring strategies to build positive relationships with various visitors and donors.
A central theme throughout the workshop was the emphasis on representing the university with integrity and professionalism in all community interactions.
As the session concluded, a recap highlighted key learnings, prompting students to reflect on how they could apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills in their roles as student ambassadors. Certificates of participation were distributed to acknowledge and appreciate the active involvement of the students.
The workshop not only proved to be a valuable opportunity for student ambassadors to refine their skills but also emphasized the importance of effective communication, community engagement, and political awareness. By focusing on these areas, the workshop aimed to equip student ambassadors with the tools needed to make a positive impact within and beyond the university community. As these ambassadors carry forward the knowledge gained, Bethlehem University anticipates their continued effective representation, embodying the institution’s values and contributing to its ongoing success.
