Bethlehem University is seeking a full-time Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs. The position holder is under the supervision of and responsible for providing professional support to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.  The position encompasses academic leadership and management for effective visioning and planning of all academic and educational affairs of the University. The Assistant Vice President’s primary responsibilities will include directing academic advising, directing the development and accreditation of new curricula, preparing procedures and policies, and working closely with the Registrar’s office on student-related matters. 

Qualifications

  • A doctoral degree is desirable; a Master’s degree with relevant experience will be considered.
  • At least five years of teaching experience in higher education. 
  • At least three years experience in a managerial position, preferably in higher education.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Strong leadership skills demonstrated by the ability to influence, persuade, and inspire stakeholders to act on strategic academic matters.
  • Proficient in computer skills and instructional technology.

The position holder reports directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
