The Institute for Community Engagement and Partnership-ICP in cooperation with the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism is pleased to announce the Professional Program in: 

Culinary Art    فن الطبخ

Program Description:

The Culinary Art program is composed of eight modules with a total of 348 contact hours.  It lasts over a period of one year, and at the end of the program, the participants will be given an accredited certificate.  

The Topics for the 8 Modules of the culinary art program are:

1-   Cul-101 Module:  Introduction to culinary arts: New World and Asia

2-   Cul-102 Module:  Introduction to culinary arts: Europe and the Middle East

3–   Cul-110 Module:  Garde Manger

4-   Cul-120 Module:  Protein Fabrication

5-   Cul-130 Module:  Soups, Sauces, and Stocks

6-   Cul-140 Module:  Menu Planning

7–   Cul-150 Module:  Introduction to Cost Controls

8-   Cul-160 Module:  Pastries and Cake Decorations

Target group:   Industry professionals, working in hotels and restaurants.

Program duration:  3 hours a day – Three days a week from 4:00 to 7:00      

Total number of hours:  348 hours.

Course Fee:   $1970
