We announce the launch of the new cycle of the HESPAL programme for the academic year 2023/2024. Since the start of the HESPAL programme in 2010 and in partnership with Palestinian universities, more than 220 Palestinian scholars have benefited from the programme, accomplishing over 177 Masters’s Degrees and 43 PhDs across a wide range of fields and specialties. The vast majority of these scholars have returned to Palestine and are active contributors to their fields whether in institutions of higher education or elsewhere. This year, we come with great ambition looking to support a new cohort of exquisite scholars based on the Academic Office nominations best to serve the needs and priorities of Bethlehem University.
The main steps to be taken are:
- Bethlehem University has the authority to select and nominate 3-5 candidates to apply for the HESPAL scholarship from academic staff or graduates from the Faculty/ Department plan to recruit at our home institution.
- Only candidates with a cover letter issued by the AVP office are nominated for the shortlist selection along with the full application form and supporting documents at the latest by 13 March 2023 to the kind attention of Mahdi Kleibo (Mr.) email: mkleibo@bethlehem.edu.
Attached you can find the full HESPAL guidelines for application and the application form that candidates need to fill out.
