The Office of the Dean of Research held the second session of the Research & Innovation Day for the 2021-2022 academic year on Thursday, 26 May 2022. Faculty members from the Faculties of Nursing and Health Sciences, the Sciences, Arts, and Education delivered different papers on various topics.
Ms. Narmeen Qumsiyeh, Lecturer in the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences, presented a paper titled, “The Impact of Utilizing Personalized Nursing Skill Videos on Students’ Skill Performance: A Randomized Controlled Trial at Bethlehem University.” Dr. Juhaina Bandak, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, presented a paper based on collaborative research that was carried out with a Bethlehem University senior student, Julian Nisan. Their paper was titled, “Fabrication and Application of Synthetic Polymer-modified Polysaccharide Composite Membranes.”
Dr. Zein Al-Awawda, Associate Professor of Arabic, presented the third paper in the session on novel by the Palestinian writer Ibrahim Nassrallah. His paper was titled, “The signs of Narrative Space in Nassrallah’s The Spirits of Kilimanjaro: A Socio-Cultural Study.” Finally, Dr. Rabiha Elayan, Assistant Professor of Education, shared her paper titled, “Towards the institutionalization of inclusive kindergartens in the Palestinian context.”
The session was attended by Deans and faculty members from different colleges as well as a large number of students. A brief discussion followed in the Q&A session.
