Bethlehem University held its faculty and staff meeting on Friday, 28 January 2022, in the auditorium to mark the beginning of the spring 2022 semester.
Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Irene Hazou, presided over the meeting which began with a reflection by Brother Mark Logtenber, Assistant Coordinator of Institutional Values.
Dr. Hazou gave Vice Presidents and Deans the opportunity to introduce new faculty and staff members to their colleagues.
Vice Chancellor Brother Peter Bray said “the structural changes associated with the university review project are coming to an end. We now need to embed the new structures to serve Bethlehem University.”
“I believe very strongly that what we are doing here at Bethlehem University is very worthwhile because of the nature of our relationships with one another and with our students,” Brother Peter added.
He also thanked the faculty and staff for their contributions to the lives of students and encouraged them to work towards making Bethlehem University a better place.
Important updates from the Executive Vice President, Rev. Dr. Iyad Twal, the Vice President for Financial Affairs, Mr. Youil Anastas, Assistant Vice President for Human Resources and Administrative Affairs Mr. Jihad Abu Amsha, and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Irene Hazou were also presented.
