Every year on Christmas Eve, the Chapel of the Divine Child at Bethlehem University is a site of joy and worship when faculty, staff, and friends of Bethlehem University gather to celebrate Christmas during the Midnight Mass.
This special Mass, which was presided over by Executive Vice President of Bethlehem University Rev. Dr. Iyad Twal, was attended by many guests.
In his Christmas homily, Rev. Dr. Iyad said “As we are in the city of the Nativity, if our heart becomes a little Bethlehem, that child, who was born in a poor and compromised situation like ours, still brings us a ray of light and love today. So, as God is with us, let us have the divine life in abundance.”
Vice Chancellor Brother Peter Bray wished the attendees a very Merry Christmas.
A special Christmas reception followed the Mass at the De La Salle Hall, where guests exchanged Christmas greetings and shared the excitement of the dawning of Christmas Day.
From the Bethlehem University community, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
