Ms. Bateel Muammar, Physiotherapist and Clinical Supervisor at the Tarek Ahmad Juffali Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences, was invited as an international classifier for The Asian Youth Para Games 2021- took place at Manama, Bahrain from Sunday, 28 November to Wednesday, 8 December 2021.
Ms. Bateel Muammar is the first and the only Palestinian woman who has an international classification certificate and she attended the tournament as a part of the IWBF (International Wheelchair Basketball Federation). As an international Classifier, Ms. Muammar will continue to participate in IWBF 2022 World U23 Men’s Championships. We are proud of her service to the Palestinian wheelchair basketball team and to the wheelchair basketball game in the whole world.
