Bethlehem University held its annual Christmas tree lighting and Christmas party on Thursday, 09 December 2020, in De La Salle building where dozens of students, faculty, and staff gathered.
The ceremony, which was organized by the Dean of Students Office, began with a musical performance by the Shepherd’s Boy and Girl Scout Troop.
Executive Vice President Rev. Dr. Iyad Twal wished Bethlehem University community God’s blessings this Christmas season.
Rev. Dr. Iyad and student Renad Abu Saada lit the Christmas tree to spread cheer amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The Dean of Students Office also organized the annual Christmas party and a Christmas bazaar in the auditorium. The party included a question and answer competition in addition to Christmas carols performances by students Tiya Qumsiyeh and Josian Khair and a Christmas play by the Bethlehem University drama group.
