The Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, with the collaboration of the Palestinian Heritage Trail, organized an educational hiking trip for the Institute’s students on Sunday, 5 December 2021.
The students hiked 7 kilometers with the help of a local guide, starting from the Good Samaritan to sea level on the road to Jericho.
The students were introduced to the importance of alternative tourism and how it can be part of promoting Palestine as a touristic destination. On top of the beautiful scenery of the desert, the students were hosted for lunch at a Bedouin tent.
