A group of third-year nursing students held an awareness lecture on breast cancer for the girl guides of the Shepherds Scouts Group – Beit Sahour on Saturday, 30 October 2021.
The lecture was entitled “Examine and reassure us because your health matters to us.” The lecture was held in cooperation with the Al-Maha Cancer Society and coordinated by Dr. Hanan Hazboun, Ms. Fatima Al-Madani, Ms. Bisan Mousa.
After the lecture, the leaders of the Scouts Group thanked the students for their in-depth explanation of how to do breast self-examination, the types of cancerous lumps, and instructed the girl guides on what to do in case of finding a breast lump.
